It’s that time of year again when kids are getting their clothes lined up for the beginning of a new school year, but more importantly, finding a backpack that will be at their side as they’re running to classes! It’s like their clothes, their hair style, their shoes, it tells people who they are.
Introducing the Spellbinders August Small Die of the Month, and I just love it! During my 27 years of teaching, that first day of school was always fun to see what the kids were toting, and this die is just a reminder of how fun it was! Links will be shown at the end for products that I used.
The best part of this die set is that you can personalize it by your choice of colors and/or designs, and you can use your scraps for the small parts. I was able to go to my mirror silver paper scraps, and with the smallest pieces, die cut the zipper pull and the buckle on the straps! It’s a win, win!
Spellbinders has an awesome video showing the process of die cutting and putting the backpack together so you too can make this cute backpack. Please go to Spellbinders blog to view this video that is under August Small Die of the Month. Let’s get started!
Your backpack is now made, and it’s now time to choose a sentiment: hello, I’m here for you, way to go, great job, etc. I chose Letterboard Minis that includes 15 stamps to choose from.
Make this stamp set a part of your sentiment collection! http://shrsl.com/1rgix
